Community larder - The Living Room, Hereford

The Living Room is a not-for-profit community larder, café and safe space in Hereford. They are members of Fareshare and work with supermarkets, restaurants and local food companies to collect food surplus and combat waste.

The Living Room has a community larder and a space where people can come together. They hope to use this space for people to learn more about food, put together family food packs with cooking instructions to help people learn to cook and training people to get them ready for the world of work or just learn new skills.

Food that isn't used in their community café and larder will be cooked up and given to the homeless through their Hereford homeless support project and the food networks available through churches to people in need. Read more about The Living Room on Facebook.
