Herefordshire Meadows
Working collaboratively across the whole of the county, Herefordshire Meadows is a network of meadow managers united by an interest in restoring, creating and conserving flower rich grasslands as well as promoting their value as part of a productive farm business. There are now more than 400 farmers and meadow owners that are part of this network.
One of the key objectives of the group is to promote well managed diverse grassland as part of the answer to the climate emergency. Flower rich grassland makes a significant contribution to capturing and storing carbon as part of a landscape including scrub, hedges and trees. More information about the group, and a range of resources can be found on the Herefordshire Meadows website.
