Lord Scudamore - recycling collection bins
Lord Scudamore School have four coloured bins for collecting old cables, old mobile phones, crisp packets and cans.
The school has collected over 1100 crisp packets and handed them over to the Hereford Community recycling project.
To date the Terra cycle project has raised £200 for the Born Sleeping appeal and saved over 200,000 packets from going to landfill.
Hereford Community Recycling project recycles items from crisp packets to mobile phones, bed linen, saucepans and computer cables to raise money for county charities. They invited local businesses to sponsor a school, initially primary schools in Hereford. The sponsorship pays for the four coloured recycling bins for the schools. Hereford Railway Station sponsors Lord Scudamore school.
