Further information

Hear from Jo Pettifer, Let’s Go Zero, about the new Climate Action Advisor scheme now available for nurseries, schools and colleges.

Jo will explain how the scheme helps tackle some of the daily challenges faced by schools, and how it relates to the four key areas of Campus, Community, Curriculum and Culture.

The West & East Midlands is the first area to benefit from this free service which is being rolled out nationwide, so it is an opportunity for Herefordshire’s educational establishments to get early advantage!

There will also be information about a new School Carbon Footprinting tool, to support schools in understanding the individual areas that are impacting their school’s carbon footprint (and costs).

Plus hear from Herefordshire Council about free resources and services measures to reduce carbon and costs, as well as support for practical climate and nature education.

There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and raise any issues or challenges being faced by your school, nursery or college regarding climate change and energy use.

The webinar will last up to an hour – if you are unable to make it for the whole session, you are welcome to join whenever you are able.

Interested? Simply email climate@herefordshire.gov.uk and we’ll send you the calendar link to join the webinar. Please let us know which school, nursery or college you are connected with.
