Innovative uniform swapping shed at Bosbury Primary supports the environment and families.

In the summer of 2023, Friends of Bosbury School (FOBS) introduced a second-hand uniform swap in a secure, self-service shed positioned within the grounds of the school. Operating on a self-service basis families can drop off donations of second-hand uniforms in good condition and take any items they need. The shed is accessible to all parents and carers of students that attend the school and is secured with a simple 4 code padlock.

This initiative not only ensures that all students have access to affordable school uniforms in a private setting but also reduces waste.

FOBS spearheaded the project, raising funds to purchase and install the uniform shed, which cost £540. The shed was installed during the summer break, ensuring it was ready for use at the start of the new school year and has been a great success since.
