Webinar for Parish and Town Councils - Local Nature Recovery Mapping in Herefordshire
Tuesday 7 January 2025 1.15pm
Part of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS), aimed at reversing the ongoing decline of nature and biodiversity in England, Herefordshire Council has published a draft map identifying areas throughout the county that are a priority for nature recovery.
Still at a very early stage, the strategy aims to address the need for existing wildlife sites to be bigger, better, and more joined up. In order to be successful, local knowledge and involvement will be essential.
All Herefordshire Parish and Town Councils are invited join a webinar on Wednesday 22nd January at 12:45pm to find out more and to hear how they can feed back on the draft map. Herefordshire Council will be looking to amend the map based on the feedback received.
